NEW BALANCE
Where we’re from. Where we’re at. Where we’re going.
Three statements inextricably linked in this New Balance ‘We Got Now’ campaign. Naturalistic and raw, our images of football powerhouse Raheem Sterling evoke a sense of nostalgia to even those unfamiliar with his beginnings.
With references that link back to his past, like the bus he would catch to training as a child, the message of the campaign was to rise without fear to every challenge, unite those around you and embark on a journey together. This sentiment was captured on a group shot that include Raheem’s football coach from his early days and children from his training academy.
In addition, respected New Balance skateboarders Tom Knox, Cam Barr and Calvin Ligono were also brought in to form part of Raheem’s ‘crew’.
ADIDAS
They’re black and white, white with black stripe – the ones I like to wear when I rock the mic…” Run DMC’s 1986 homage to their sports brand of choice springs to mind looking at this campaign we created for ADIDAS Originals, emblazoned on billboards, buses, stations, newspapers and digital screens across Europe.
A contemporary twist on the iconic Superstar trainer and three-stripe tracksuit, the shoot featured game-changers from music, sport, art and fashion.
Against a bold ADIDAS blue background, rapper Kano, presenter Maya Jama, Bayern Munich footballer Serge Gnabry, plus size model Jada Sezer and others lock eyes with the viewer, daring them to look away.
Their powerful poses, determined expressions and the low camera angles are classic Run DMC but they look forward too, to a world of talent, diversity, teamwork – and the flyest of footwear.
PUMA
Commissioned by Neighbour on behalf of PUMA, we lit up Ladbroke Grove, West London to execute an eruptive shoot that oozed all the joy of Christmas, while still maintaining the brand’s effortless street-chic style.
Cars, bikes, scooters, goals posts, containers, fences and basketball hoops, all wrapped in fairy lights. Daring imagery with a cosy yet chaotic energy.
Fashion, but make it festive.
Cool and Christmas are words not typically synonymous, but Puma challenged us to achieve just that.
The brief? Produce a vibrant metropolitan campaign with a festive twist, showcasing the brand’s youthful new collection.
